I realize you have a ton of options when it comes to photographers, so please take a minute to look around and see my work. Since 2006 I have been working with families, individuals and companies all over NYC, Long Island (from Nassau County to the Hampton Bays), Westchester, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

My photographic journey started a few years before digital began to transform the industry. Using film was a great way to learn my craft and for personal projects, I sometimes still shoot medium format film. Since 1999 I've been involved in the photographic industry in one way or another. From working in a lab professionally retouching images, to maintaining an e-commerce site selling photographic gear to working at weddings and events.

We have worked with Roy twice, with our first born in 2013 and again with our twins in 2015. As new parents, he really put us at ease with how he handled our baby (it was obvious he had way more experience with kids than we did). He even included our two mini dachshunds in the shoot and managed them like a real dog whisperer.

Also, our photo shoot was supposed to be 2hrs but he went way over the 2hrs mark just to make sure we had all the shots we wanted!

Family portraits are also included with every Newborns, Baby & Children portraits session. In April of 2009- My husband and I booked our first session, a maternity session, with Roy- we were so impressed with both him personally and his work, we quickly booked a newborn session to follow just weeks later.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Roy. The photos he took of my son are amazing. He was unbelievably patient with my five day old boy. I appreciated that he does not charge by the hour. He did not rush. He came early and stayed late, until he was sure he got the best shots. He brought so many beautiful backdrops and props that transformed each poise into a creative picture of perfection.
