Gracie Barra comes from Brazil to Northern Colorado to share everything we know about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - BJJ with you and your family. Through the conviction that everyone can and should evolve as persons, we inhabit an intimidating space known as the "outside of the comfort zone" to most. From 3 years old and up, we all decided to be different.

There are no shortcuts in learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, so you can't waste any minute with the wrong techniques or unqualified instructors. Knowing that, Gracie Barra Fort Collins offers highly trained and certified instructors teaching off an unique system of curriculums tailored for different ages and BJJ experience levels.

From 3 years old and up, children at Gracie Barra Fort Collins can take advantage of classes filled with self-defense skills to become the best that they can be, mentally and physically. The Gracie Barra Kids & Teens Program - GBK was created to provide children with an environment that allows them to experience and understand core values around focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation and respect - all through the principles of BJJ teachings.

We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before schedule, as the class will start on time and we can get some legal out of the way and you on one of our freshly clean uniforms. When lining up to begin practice, you'll notice the instructor has a precise plan for the class. This is standard. The class routine is always similar so you know exactly what to expect during each part of practice; the techniques change, though!
