Jeff performed our home inspection yesterday afternoon. He was extremely thorough and took the time to answer any questions that came up during the inspection. After he inspected each area of the house, he gave us a great summary of his findings and helped us understand what he was looking at. He pointed things out that we would have never even thought to look at. Out of the few home inspections I have been a part of, he was definitely the best. Highly recommend!

We recently placed an offer on a home that was accepted then had to find a company that could perform a home inspection. We were referred to Castle Home Inspections who answered our request and were out within 48-hours.

Jeff R. performed the home inspection on Saturday afternoon. He was very polite and arrived early for the inspection. Once I arrived he let me know what he would be doing and if I had any questions to let him know. The inspection took about 2-3 hours it was about a 3K sqft house and he went over somethings during the inspection. I absolutely recommend Jeff for anyone who is looking. I received the inspection report the following morning and I was not surprised with anything on the report because we went through it during the inspection. Thank you Jeff!

We used Ron from Castle Home Inspections for a home we are purchasing in Oak Brook. Ron and his team arrived on time and were extremely professional and thorough. They provided an 87-page report of issues identified with easy to read comments and photos. Although the property was being sold 'as-is', it was well worth the cost to get a comprehensive list of repairs needed. The inspection was completed around 5pm and I received the summary report the very same evening! Exceeded my expectation. Highly recommend.

I scheduled a home inspection with Castle last week to be done this past Saturday at a home we are purchasing. Jeff and Vanessa were already on site, ladders set up and ready to start when we arrived at the home at our exact scheduled time of 3:30. NICE! The home owner and her son are both still residing in the home and both Jeff and Vanessa were incredibly respectful. After the inspection was complete, Jeff had a brief side conversation with us to point out a couple notables from the inspection prior to typing up the report which was nice. Had my home inspected in June and received a thorough report of things that need fixing but nothing that was a red flag or concern, just normal maintenance stuff so I proceeded with the purchase of the home. I closed on the home and moved in two weeks ago to the day. Within 7 days of being in the home there was a water spot in the ceiling off the kitchen and above this is the hallway upstairs so I assumed a leaky pipe and called someone to come out and look. How many times have you had a house inspection, only to discover significant water issues after? For us, this has been the case over the past two decades.
However, Castle Rock was by the far the best inspectors we have ever had. They answered all my questions during the inspection which were in abundance, as i kept interrupting them, and addressed all my concerns, primarily around water penetration and damage which is significant when living in Chicago's perpetual, volatile precipitation!
They sent multiple people out to cover the large footprint, completed the inspection an hour before estimated

These guys were great. Ask for Evan and/or Jeff! Very professional and really helpful. Their report was exceedingly thorough. The house we looked at came back with 117 pages of things inspected. The house was ~4000 sq ft. I know that I'm definitely taking more precautions and have a much better idea about the reality of buying the home we were looking at. I will use them again in the future and be recommending them.

Definitely worth the cost. Bought new construction. Builder tried to convince people an inspection was not needed because the Village inspected everything. Actually, the Village was rubber stamping these townhomes without every going inside. And they missed some problems outside too. Always get an inspection. Thanks, Evan!

We have used Castle twice - Dan, Jeff and Michael all did an impeccable job. We received extremely detailed reports with photos of EVERYTHING referenced making it easy for me to understand.
Michael was great and paused half way to go through what he had seen so far. At the end of the inspection, he went through the second half of the home's inspection, answering our (many) questions throughout the entire process.

Castle was referred to us by our realtor and we were able to get an appointment for the inspection very quickly. Evan was the inspector and he got to the home early to start looking around the outside of the house. When we arrived, he explained the inspection process and how he works. I liked that he was okay with us walking around with him to see what he found or we could relax and he would tell us his findings after the fact. This was the 3rd time we've used Castle Home Inspections. The first 2 times were to purchase homes and this 3rd time was for a 4-flat. Let me say they were just as thorough with the 4-flat as they were with the houses. They take there time and make sure they look into everything. They offer a warranty on their inspection which lets you know they want to leave no stone unturned. Evan & Jeff answered any questions I had and didn't mind me trailing them throughout the inspection. I'd highly recommend them to anyone purchasing a property!

Dan and Jeff were excellent during our inspection. They walked us through each step of the inspection and answered all of our questions in detail. They were thorough and combed through every inch of the house with us.
