Very friendly. Has a traditional feel. My son (7) loves it and works hard to earn his stripes. I like that they stress discipline and focus. They also have kids bow when they enter and exit the dojo. Additionally, if you don't listen you could lose stripes. They have a lot of long time clients. Very happy we started with them back in July.

If you're looking for a workout as well as a work in, you will find it at University Karate Center. The techniques and lessons taught by the senseis are more than physical. Through its program, you get to know yourself inside and out. Although I have been a student at this dojo for only months, the benefits are many and to all ages: focus, self-confidence, respect, self-defense.

Solid modern form of karate. Classea are plentiful and the teachers are patient. I trained here back in the early 2ks and now my son trains here. Add all that up with the reasonable price, its the best martial arts school in town.

I trained here when I was younger and enjoyed it. Now all these years later, they are still in business and my 4yr old son had begun his training. Great for building confidence and enlisting discipline.

I called for information in regards to signing my son up for classes. Cynthia did not want to give out information over the phone. She stated she wanted me to come in so "she could see me and I could see her" then she would give me the information. She stated "it is easier". I have never encountered a business ever withholding information about registration and monthly fees. I am no longer interested.
