In 1991, we were under the supervision of Sensei Shigeo Nakazato 8o Dan (Degree). After long, hard and enduring practices we obtained our 1st degree as black belts in Karate-do and Kobudo of the Ken Institutes. For over 10 years we were in charge of the Branch of Ken Institutes in the state of Santa Fe, Argentina; with two primary schools, one in the city of Capitan Bermudez, and the other in the City of San Lorenzo.
We are currently the only branch of this style to teach and practice in the U.S. We have the privilege of sharing this activity with as many people who are determined to learn it. Our knowledge is well developed, allowing us to be teaching as we have been doing so for more than 30 years. Our teaching is not based as a combat method but instead as a philosophy of life, where values such as discipline, respect and friendships are taught throughout.

Bo-jutsu (technique of the handling of the stick), is a martial art born around the 1400's in the region of Chikin, and was later developed by different parts of Okinawa.
During this time, the commercial interchange was based on exchange (an activity filled with violence), the reason for which the water bearers and shippers began to use the wood sticks they carried on their shoulders with bulks hanging in both ends, as defensive and offensive weapons.

Origin
Report
Sensei SHIGEO NAKAZATO, 8th Dan (Degree), Founder of the style "ZEN SHO SHORINJI KENPO NO TUMAI-TI" and grand master of the well-known school DOJOS KEN. The school was founded with the arrival of Sensei Nakazato in Argentina. The word "DOJO" means place of practice and the word "KEN" means fist. This style promotes traditional karate and kobudo, where respect, discipline and education are the three fundamental pillars of the Dojos Ken school.
The Style
Report
This system or style dates back to the 1400s even though it did not become known until a century later, when its teaching became public. The Port of Tumai was a mandatory stop point for many boats, where contraband and fighting abounded. From there, Kempo was born, and so it follows that this system for its origin, is clearly a combative martial art.
