East Bay Dance Center offers spacious studios with hardwood floors, air-conditioning, a stage, and a lobby for parents and visitors. The studio is located in the Glenview District of Oakland just off Park Boulevard. The neighborhood is lined with restaurants, cafes and a variety of shops and businesses for your enjoyment and convenience.
Meet the Staff

Bonnie Sita has been teaching, performing and choreographing in the Bay Area since 1976. Starting in ballet at age 4, she trained extensively in New York, Los Angeles and finally the Bay Area primarily in Ballet, Modern and Jazz.

A two-time California Arts Council Artist-in-Residence, she has worked extensively to bring dance into the public schools as a dance and movement specialist for the cities of Oakland, San Rafael and Richmond and as a gifted and talented teacher for the Richmond Unified School District.

Classes include ballet, tap and jazz; in beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate levels. Tuition: Class payment cards are good for 4 consecutive weeks or classes; No extensions will be given for any reason. Take a Trial Class

We are pleased to offer Trial Classes for students who wish to sample various styles of dance to decide which ones are a good fit. The fee for the first trial class is $10; A second trial class (in the same class) is $16. Please contact the studio today to ensure availability in your desired classes.
Camps & Afterschool
Report
Summer Camp 2021 will be in-person! Activities will include: dance, drama, arts and crafts, games and outdoor activities for ages 5-12. Safety protocols will be put in place follwing Health Department guidelines, including requiring students, staff, and parents to wear masks, conducting daily temperature checks, limiting the number of people in a given space to allow for social distancing, etc.
