Kimble Funeral Home has been serving Princeton and its surrounding communities for over 80 years. The funeral home was founded in 1926 by Ralph E. Kimble and was originally located on Jefferson Street. In 1931, the funeral home was moved to its present location at One Hamilton Avenue. Mr. Kimble had two sons.
The oldest, Edwin L. a 1932 graduate of Princeton University and Ralph Birchall "Bert" Kimble. Both Edwin and "Bert" operated the funeral home for many years after the passsing of their father. Claude M. Crater started his career there in 1965. After Bert's retirement in 1979, Claude became manager and eventually owner.

Life Choices
Report
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Why Plan Ahead
Report

Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
