For over a century, Chancellor Hotel has stood as a historic landmark in San Francisco. Established in 1914, our family-owned hotel blends timeless tradition with modern comfort, offering guests a unique experience rooted in San Francisco's rich history. Located on the iconic Powell Street Cable Car Line, we provide easy access to the city's premier attractions while maintaining the personalized service and value that have defined our legacy. We got a really good deal so decided to stay at the hotel. The room is well furnished and the cleaning service is fantastic. You also get unlimited water, cookies and apples. However the receptionists are quite rude and not friendly at all. When you say hi, they dont answer back. Basic thing - no?
