The long story is that I officially started my business in 2007, but it had been a dream of mine for a long time to be a photographer. Wedding photography specifically turned into an obsession when my husband and I were planning our wedding way back in 2004/2005. When I became pregnant with our first child, I decided it would be the perfect time to quit my "9-5" job of technical writing to focus on photography full-time.
Weddings

After 14 years of photographing weddings, I have decided to not take any weddings in 2022. I can't say that I'm forever and ever done photographing weddings, but for now will be taking a break. My children are getting older and I just need to have that weekend time with them. I am happy to refer you to other great photographers in the area.

What looks best? Above all, wear what you love and are comfortable in because it will show in your pictures. However, don't be afraid to use color. Don't be afraid to dress up. Don't be afraid to do an outfit change. Try to stick with the theme of your location. If you are in an urban setting, you might want to dress up a bit.

Babies

Of all of the photography I have done over the years, photographing babies is by far my favorite. I love capturing your babies ages newborn to one year in age. My sessions are all about you and your baby and your connection - NOT about the props. I want you to see baby's personality shine through and to be able to remember all those tiny details.
