Zanshin Martial Arts
Martial arts classes help children improve in every area of their lives: academics, sports, and interpersonal relationships. We have several adult programs to help you with all your goals such as physical fitness, personal development, & self-defense! Out entire family was trained by Master Dan and team in 3 different martial arts.

The staff and instructors are very friendly, down to earth, humble, and fun. We learned so much while having a great time. Our kids couldn't wait until the next lesson and always asked to go back. Training helped them get over their shyness and break out of their shells. Their skills and confidence rose, along with their leadership skills and attention to detail.

Everyone is welcome at Zanshin so long as they come with a willingness to learn and accept others. At the end of the day martial arts skill should always be about the ability to protect yourself & your family. Students learn various methods of self-defense depending on age and skill level. Skills taught are appropriate to the most common self-defense situations students might come across.

Adults benefit from the martial arts in a lot of the same ways that kids do: focus, confidence, self-discipline - not to mention the friends I've made.

Martial Arts are a holistic methodof practice. You will improve coordination, focus, self-confidence, & endurance all while making new friends! No, not at all. Emotional management & respect for others are important aspects of training. These are elements that take time to instill, but if anything your child will be more assertive in behaviors while being less aggressive.

I wouldn't be who I am today without the martial arts, and I'm not talking about the punches and kicks. It is a great way to build discipline, respect, confidence at the same time that they are getting exercise and learning how to protect themselves. Add to that the fact that they can have a lot of fun making new friends and conquering new goals!
