We are located in beautiful downtown Brookings. We offer preventative, medical, and surgical care to dogs, cats, exotic pets, horses, and livestock. In addition to our first rate care, we strive to make our clinic as comfortable and as low stress as possible. Our professional and compassionate staff look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet!

At Heartland Veterinary Clinic, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are. Simply put, I trust my pets with Heartland Vet. We had an obese pet that multiple other vets literally told us, "she's just a big girl, but healthy". Dr. Fedeler had us switch to a specific type of food and she dropped her weight by 1/3 and is noticeably more healthy and happy.

Wellness/Preventive Care
Report
Wellness and Preventative care is the key to keeping your beloved pet in top physical condition and for disease prevention. This includes services our veterinarians provide as a well as things you can do at home. Every pet should have a yearly physical examination performed by a veterinarian. This will help detect signs of disease in early the stages which are usually more treatable.
Vaccinations
Report
Vaccinations are a key part of keeping your beloved pet healthy and disease free. Vaccine types recommended and the frequency of vaccination vary depending upon the lifestyle of your pet. Also make sure to tell us about any previous vaccination reactions your pet may have had, which could affect what we recommend in the future.
