With specialized training in trauma recovery, our therapists support clients facing life transitions, grief, and personal growth opportunities.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Specialized evidence-based therapy for children and adults recovering from traumatic experiences. Our counselors use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address PTSD symptoms, abuse recovery, and complex trauma. Treatment integrates family involvement when appropriate and typically shows measurable improvement within 12-16 sessions.
Family Therapy
We offer systems-based counseling to improve family dynamics and resolve conflicts. Our licensed therapists address communication challenges, parent-child relationships, and intergenerational issues. Through structured sessions focusing on behavioral patterns and emotional connections, families develop healthier interaction strategies that promote lasting relational healing.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Comprehensive outpatient programs for chemical dependency and behavioral addictions. Our certified specialists use Motivational Interviewing and relapse prevention techniques tailored to each client's needs. Treatment includes individual counseling, group therapy, and family education components to support sustainable recovery from substance use disorders.
Play Therapy
Developmentally appropriate treatment for children aged 3-12 using therapeutic play techniques. Our registered play therapists help young clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and develop emotional regulation skills. Kim is a top notch family therapist. Christian or not you and your children will benefit from her wisdom, kindness, and no nonsense approach to the problems your child is facing. She would get 10 stars from me if the google scale went that high.

Do not take you family to this place. I took my 3 traumatized children, and myself, to Sandy at Lighthouse, for counseling, and then recommended her to my good friend (who later became my husband) for his daughter. They picked sides, (sided with his ex wife) and excluded my family from counseling after knowing confidential information about our life, and, seeing my kids for several sessions prior to taking my husbands daughter as a patient, they then continue to sneak around to see my husband's daughter, without notifying him of upcoming appointments, which is agaisnt court orders.
