History: Dr. Kurt Krusen has run his general small animal practice since 1994. He currently provides a personalized approach and a more intimate experience in a slower paced, less stressful, beautiful country setting. He has special interests in surgery, geriatrics, and osteoarthritis where simple or comprehensive treatments including nutritional supplements can make a significant difference in the quality and length of your pet's life.
He is involved in community events and has performed veterinary service/mission trips to Haiti, Cuba, Navajo Nation, Nicaragua, Grenada, and Costa Rica. Wellness (Vaccinations/Examinations) - Visits include a head to tail physical examination by our veterinarian. Based on your pet's age and lifestyle, we will tailor a preventive care plan which includes vaccines, blood work, parasite preventatives, and nutritional counseling.
Surgeries - Dr. Krusen utilizes safe and effective anesthesia to offer your pet an array of surgical services and options including canine and feline spays and neuters, declaws, mass removals, and other elective surgeries.Dr. Krusen truly enjoys and has a special interest in surgery. Much of his 30 years in practice and continuing education has focused on general surgery.
