What we do best. It's pretty simple! We want YOU to feel better, move better, get stronger, have more balance, and less pain. We do this in a gentle and progressive way by using our Contemporary Pilates Technique as the foundation to improve your overall fitness and health. Your session may include (but not limited to) Pilates, suspension training, Aerial FIT-lates Hammock, ARP, and stretching.

Pegasus Pilates uses a contemporary approach to Pilates, Aerial Fitness, and Therapeutic Movement. Jennifer Van Deausen founded Pegasus Pilates in 2002 as a full service Pilates studio. Since then she has taken the fundamentals of Pilates and incorporated them into her own brand of alternative fitness Private Sessions, small group classes, and Aerial Pilates Teacher Training.

It also incorporates modern exercise principles with current knowledge about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. This contemporary approach helps restore the natural curvature of the spine and rebuilds the muscles around the joints.

Pegasus Aerial FITlates Teacher Training will provide you with all you need to start your career as an Aerial Pilates Instructor. Pegasus Aerial Pilates(C) is a blend of Contemporary Pilates, Aerial Fitness, Suspension Training, and *ARP(C) Techniques. This method bridges the gap between circus aerial arts, Pilates, suspension training, and fitness.

Jennifer Van Deausen has always had a life of fitness. Growing up was filled with horses, ski slopes, swimming, running, and gymnastics. She took her first fitness job at the age of 18 in 1987 at Mariner Square Athletic Club. First working at the front desk, but eventually showing clients how to use the fitness equipment.
