We have been providing exceptional and compassionate veterinary care in Jacksonville and the surrounding area since 1985. Switzerland Animal Hospital was established in 1985 with the goal of providing the best veterinary health care to northwest St. John's County while fostering an environment where clients and pets are treated like family.
Boarding

We are proud to offer climate controlled interior boarding for our furry friends. Our staff understands that leaving your pet under the care of somebody besides yourself can cause some anxiety for you and your pet. The good news is that your pet probably already knows most of our staff as their healthcare providers.
Cat Services

Since 1985, the veterinarians and support staff at Switzerland Animal Hospital have sought to achieve the highest standards of veterinary medicine. We know that cats are part of the family, yours and ours. Our clients' response to the care we provide is the strongest testament to the quality of care we provide for their cats.
Cryosurgery
Report
We use the Brymill Cryosurgery System to deliver liquid nitrogen to abnormal (cancerous or precancerous) and benign skin growths, such as warts or small mast cell tumors. This procedure may require mild sedation or a local anesthetic, but can typically be performed without it. A blister will develop where the liquid nitrogen contacts the skin.

Dental disease, if left untreated leads to bacteria disseminating into the blood stream targeting kidney, heart, and liver that can cause permanent organ damage. Many of these problems can be avoided by having your pet's teeth examined and professionally cleaned on a regular basis.
