We have a full service cocktail lounge where you can enjoy a top shelf margarita and some sports on our giant flat screen. Or you can get lunch with the family and enjoy the open air patio seating at the Oakway location. We also offer takeout dishes for 2-4 people, low-carb menu items, an appetizer menu, an incredible drink menu, the best Mexican food in town, with two great locations to serve you.

Chapala Mexican Restaurant was started in 1994 by Martin and Salvador Pelayo and their spouses after working for a large Mexican restaurant in Seattle for many years. They found the location in the south hills of Eugene, Oregon and brought all their money together to start the restaurant. Chapala originally employed about 15 employees (with eight being family members).

Located in the beautiful Oakway Center, you'll enjoy your meal in our casual but elegant dining room or outdoor patio. All of our menu items are prepared to the same strict standards established at our original location at 29th and Willamette. While our Oakway Center location does not have a bar or lounge area, we do offer complete bar service and we will gladly make your favorite libation; including our house specialty: The Guava Margarita!

These famous house nachos are made with crispy chips & your choice of cheese only or cheese with ground beef, chicken, or picadillo. Topped with tomatoes & green onions. Jalepeos on request. A warm blend of selected cheeses & chiles baked together in an insanely delicious jalapeno dip. Our house nachos are topped with your choice of refried or Rancho (cholesterol-free) beans, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeos, tomato, onions & cheddar cheese.
