Language Garden offers offers a rich, interdisciplinary bilingual experience for children 2-5 years old. At this age, children absorb a second language naturally and the most effective way to learn a second language is to put children in situation where the second language surrounds them.
At Language Garden, we immerse a child in play and exploration via an interdisciplinary approach (art, music, STEM, social and emotional intelligence) while speaking to them 90-100% in the target language of either Spanish or French.Percent of Children Worldwide Brought Up in Bi-Lingual or Multi-Lingual Environments 66% 66%.

Value of Bilingual Education
Report
Bilingual children use parts of the brain that are no longer accessible in later life. The brain's ability to absorb and comprehend language is sharpest in the first year of life and starts to decrease after 12 months.
According to the Critical Period Hypothesis (CPH) of early brain development, the first few years of life up to age 5 establish the time during which language develops swiftly and after which language acquisition is much more difficult.By the time a child reaches puberty, his ability to learn a language has decreased significantly.

Our Philosophy– Learning Through Play
Report
At Language Garden Preschool, we feel learning through play, developmental learning, is the most natural way to receive, store and apply new information. Our bilingual teachers give instruction indirectly. Your child "acquires" new information as opposed to "learning" it. Because preschoolers learn differently from school-age children, play is essential to learning and developing ideas about the world.
