Sandy and Meridian Property management have went above and beyond for my family. This is our second rental with them and when our previous landlord asked us to move on much shorter notice then anticipated, Sandy helped us find another rental and assisted us throughout the entire process.
They are also very responsive to requests/concerns.
She is truly an outstanding/empathetic individual, and I will continue to recommend Meridian to everyone I know.

Oh wow, where do I start. I've been working with Sandy, Alex and May over at Meridian for over two years now, and I cannot give them enough praises. I work with them on the renter's side of things, putting in maintenance requests, change of tenancy notices, and lease renewals and I have to say they are the easiest and kindest property management group I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Sandy and Alex were always very responsive and helpful when I needed something for my rental.
Whenever I had an issue and contacted them about it they responded quickly and professionally to see how we could best fix it.
I took care of my apartment very well and when it came time to move out they gave me my full deposit back. Which is great because I have had previous landlords try to squeeze a couple of hundred bucks out of you for no reason. Not these MPM though, they were honest and fair about it. Even sent me a nice hand written thank you note with my deposit refund.

Meridian managed our beloved home as a rental for seven years, until it finally became clear we'd never return. So they sold it for us too.
As others have posted, I'm sad to see bad reviews on here. Sandy, May, and Alex run an honest business with care and attentiveness.
We were occasionally involved during the first few years, usually for the bigger repairs that required our approval. Meridian is one of the better property management companies we have rented from in the San Diego area. Sandy, in particular, is an absolute delight---but really all of the employees are great. They were consistently available and happy to help with any and all of our concerns while still being mindful when it came to our time. I hope we have the opportunity to rent from them again.

I was blessed to rent a townhome in Tierrasanta from Meridian Property Management for 5 years. I wish all property management companies where as personable, friendly, caring and concerned about their tenants as they were... thanks May, Sandy and Alex for all your help and support over the years. I am saddened to see any bad reviews... they were never anything but supportive and helpful to me and went out of their way to help me in any way possible. I just recently bought a condo, but if I ever find myself in need again of a rental or wish to rent out my new condo... I would definitely hire them

We were tenants in a unit managed by Meridian. These folks couldn't have been more helpful. They were extremely responsive and our first positive rental experience in San Diego. The unit was well maintained and our service requests were promptly handled to our satisfaction each time something was required. We wouldn't hesitate to use Meridian in the future!

Attention all potential future customers and residents - take your rental business ELSEWHERE. Do not engage in activities with Meridian Porperty Management, unless you want to partake in the CARELESSNESS and LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM that is involved in doing so. I could write pages about the construction that took 2-3 months on the apartment, delays due to nothing but lack of urgency to keep our home safe and habitable. And the "rent credit" received in relation to such matters was truly just an insult. Constant deflection, inability to take responsibility for anything and total obliviousness

Unethical and poor business practices. We went to view a home we found on Zillow. The agent gave us a code to get in and view the property. On Zillow is said there was a garage included & on our visit the garage door opener was on the kitchen counter.
We loved the place, it was a bit small but we could make it work with the garage so we applied. Once approved they told us the garage was not included and we couldn't even pay extra to rent it.
When we asked if we could get our $50 back from the application fee they denied us.
Not cool Meridian.

HORRIBLE company with terrible business practices. I can not speak for how they treat their other properties but our personal experience has been a nightmare. They do not care about the home, they are rude and unreachable! Their main rep Sandy is very disrespectful and write emails that belittle and disrespect tenants. This is not how I would ever want someone who holds my home in their hands to ever treat anyone. I truly hope they read their reviews because you needs to change the way you treat people and conduct business.

If you have a rental property, you will want to use Meridian Property Management to manage your property. I contracted with them to manage my town house for 2 years. I was very, very impressed with their level of professionalism. They were always able to get it rented without much if any downtime. They were very communicative, kept detailed records and were always very prompt getting the monthly statement/rent to me. I ended up moving back in to the town house recently after the tenant vacated with no notice, and was pleasantly surprised to see that they put it back into pristine condition

We've been dealing with Meridian for over 5 years now. They are professional and work diligently to get the job done and keep tenants and owners happy. May and Sandy run the office and always return phone calls and emails promptly. They are always fair and reasonable. We truly appreciate the peace of mind we get working with Meridian.

I have been living in a house managed by them for the 3 years.... For the last year I have notified them of termites damage in the floors and now the back patio structure and storeroom. Along with that our dishwasher has stop work and they refuse to install the new one we bought! I pay rent to them and they can't take care of a few problems. I will never rent from this company again!

I used them for 1 year. The repairs in the condo were near non existent. I had to keep calling them to get the repairs done. Then when I moved out. I had my own carpet cleaners and house cleaners come (the condo was spotless and in better condition then when I left it) but I was still charged more then $500.00 for cleaning and repairs. It was unbelievable. I think they did not check the unit after I moved out, they just sent the cleaners to clean someplace already clean. I do not recommend them but the condo I lived in was nice... except in the winter when the heating unit was not working.
