Authentic Wu Mei Kung Fu Association
Wu Mei Pai is a classical Chinese martial art founded by Wu Mei, the daughter of a Ming Imperial general. Wu Mei Pai is unusually comprehensive: long and short in range, hard and soft in expression, and utilizing internal and external forces; it is at once a powerful system of self-defense, a complex health and longevity practice, and a profound spiritual discipline.

Seventh generation grandmaster Sifu Ken Lo teaches and oversees all classes at the Headquarters School. The class atmosphere is supportive, non-threatening, non-violent, and non-competitive. Students are taught individually in a group setting and will develop strength, power, flexibility, endurance, and skill.

About Wu Mei Kung Fu
Report
At the Wu Mei Kung Fu Association, we believe in the traditional apprenticeship method to train students to become the next generation of Masters. Classes are ongoing; there are no sections or semesters. The learning is never ending. There are no "mass production" methods applied to the training. Teaching is individual even in a group setting.

I started to work out since 1999 of Nov. I have woman problems of my health and I used to see accupunture doctor twice a week to balance my ying & yang energy. My Chinese doctor treat me like a sister that I feel needed. It took a while to believe Wu Mei Chi Kung ( breath exercises can replace my routine of seeing doctors. Since then my health is under control. Beside, I learning to feel the chi traveling. Use a little bit of chi to help my kung fu exercises. The result is tremendously different then most people using muscles. I also learning how to co-ordinate with my arm and leg to create

I have been privileged to know Sifu Ken Lo for over 20 years, having first begun to study and practice Wu Mei around 1995 - I've returned in recent years after a long gap and investigation of other paths. My initial visit to the the school arose from a quest to find the energetic and internal power roots of Southern Shaolin kung fu systems, and a quest for a deeper understanding of the transformative potential of practicing traditional Chinese martial art. What I found was was a hidden gem: an exceedingly rare, powerful and comprehensive art that had all of the dimensions missing or lost

I have been a student of Wu Mei for about 4 years now, and its been one of the best things I've done. It's informed how I move in many ways. I am a massage therapist and acupuncturist, things that I learned at Wu mei made me move more efficiently and I found that my patients benefited too.

Sifu Lo is a very patient and open teacher, he seems to say the right thing to the right person and has an individualized approach to teaching. It's seems he knows the right time to compliment and the right time to critique.

Wu mei itself is a combination of both internal and external martial

Sifu Lo is a very thoughtful and intelligent teacher. He attracts loyal students who respect his abilities and abilities to teach/transfer them. Class is a very communal, help one another, atmosphere. Advanced and senior students are taught to help their less advanced peers. I highly recommend.

I first began martial arts training in 1985 and met Sifu Lo in 2003. Sifu Lo teaches with the knowledge of a historian and linguist and yet teaches combat with the strength and prowess of a tiger. Sifu Lo teaches a complete classical style in Wu Mei Kung Fu offering forms, weapons, application, chi gung and also lion dance. Classes offer a comfortable and supportive environment with instruction given directly by Sifu Lo as well as advanced students. I have trained in many schools with little or no face time given by the head instructor, let alone a grand master like Ken Lo. I would highly recommend
