Mark E. Essling the son of Vincent and Ellen Essling joined the firm as a licensed funeral director in 1976. Vincent and Ellen Essling died within two weeks of one another in the fall of 1992. Mark E. Essling owned and operated the funeral home until his death in 2014.

After Mark's death the Essling family was determined to find a Funeral Director to carry-on the family traditions that Mark, Vincent, and Ellen imparted on the community for so many years.In August of 2014, the Funeral Home was sold to Frank L. Keszei a Funeral Director with 36 years of experience who holds true to the standards set by the founders in 1958.

Guardian Angel Program

This program was created in honor of Nancy & Edward Keszei, twin siblings to our owner & funeral director, Frank L. Keszei. Frank's sister and brother lived less than a day due to complications of an early birth. In honor of the twins, the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel will donate all services to the parents who suffer such a tragic loss of their stillborn/newly born daughter or son.

Veterans Overview

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
