Our Self-defense classes are designed for women and teens. We teach techniques designed to work regardless of your size. This is a serious subject and this class will teach you practical strategies in a supportive and friendly environment. Call for times and dates of future classes. Children need lots of activity to use all the energy they have and grow up healthy and strong.

When the people of San Jose come to Almaden Taekwondo to learn martial arts, they don't just receive training, but a staff that is dedicated to helping them improve themselves. Almaden Taekwondo is family owned and operated. While we are located in the heart of Almaden Valley, we have students from Los Gatos, San Jose, Campbell and Saratoga.

Usually, the thing to do is just avoid these places, but sometimes trouble comes to you. When it does, it is best to be prepared. Almaden Taekwondo is here to give the people of San Jose the tools they need to protect themselves when they need to.

Almaden Taekwondo offers an adult class that can help you to get in shape, relieve stress, improve awareness, learn a new skill and ultimately lead to an increase in confidence.

At Almaden Taekwondo your training continues after achieving your first black belt. Our black belts continue to learn and practice precision in their movements, advanced self-defense/weapons and train to achieve their 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree black belt and beyond. We strive to provide a friendly, accepting and encouraging environment for training while still providing quality instruction.
