Joining the Academy is simple, and you won't be asked to sign up or join until you are ready and have taken a week long test drive so as to meet the coaches, staff, and other students. There are only two memberships available. There are no long term contracts. Every membership is month to month. All that is required to cancel, or hold, your membership, is a 30 day written email notice.
Black Belt Garrett Whitman

Garrett Whitman is one of three pure bred black belts that learned under my tutelage since the inception of the academy in 2007. He has been with me since start and has become the leading edge of the academy's brazilian jiu-jitsu competition team. You will find him teaching evening classes almost as much as myself (Professor Tomacelli) in his own pursuit to open up the first academy affiliate in the near future.

Daniel Estrella is one of my brown belts at the academy and my assistant combatives + self defense instructor. You will find him often teaching the 6:00am Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes when I cannot make it. You will also find him religiously at the 5:30pm Friday night scheduled C+S class.

Professor Pat Tasson

Professor Pat Tasson is a 4th degree black belt under my master, Joe Moreira. Professor Tasson has had quite an impact on my entire grappling game. He, and Professor Ed Beneville, were always there teaching in Joe's sted while he was abroad teaching seminars and expanding the family. You will typically find him training, or teaching, the Advanced BJJ classes at the academy.

During the inception and creation of Tomacelli Academy I have been come to one main realization that most martial artist and fighters only come to late in their careers. Longevity is the true goal. In order to maintain this longevity sometime we need outside knowledge, and outside skill. This is where my healers come into play.
