Services
Pet Dentistry
Our state-of-the-art dental services include cleanings, extractions, and x-rays under anesthesia to prevent trauma. Two technical nurses monitor anesthesia safety, and we use surgical closures for extractions. Follow-up visits ensure healing, and we recommend Healthy Mouth products for home care. MiraPet ultrasonic brushing is offered for pets unable to tolerate traditional methods.
Hospice Care
Certified veterinarians provide comfort-focused care for terminally ill pets. We develop individualized plans to manage pain, prescribe food therapy, and adjust environments for mobility. End-of-life sedation uses warm fluids to ensure unawareness, and we partner with Hamilton Pet Meadow for aftercare. Home visits are available within 30 minutes of our clinic.
Acupuncture Therapy
Certified practitioners use acupuncture to treat arthritis, neurological issues, and chronic pain. Needles target acupoints to improve nerve and blood flow, with sessions lasting 20-30 minutes. Most pets require biweekly treatments initially, then monthly maintenance. Cats and dogs often relax during sessions, showing endorphin release through drowsiness.
Urgent Care
We address non-life-threatening conditions like minor injuries, allergies, and digestive upset during regular hours. In-house labs and digital x-rays enable rapid diagnosis. Telemedicine consults are available evenings. Critical cases are referred to emergency clinics. Patients receive same-day or next-day appointments to prevent complications.
Surgical Services
Our surgeons perform spays, neuters, and orthopedic procedures with advanced anesthetic monitoring (pulse oximetry, EKG). Post-op recovery includes heated flooring and oxygen support. Pain management plans ensure comfort, and discharge instructions guide home care. Mobile specialists handle complex cases like cruciate repairs using minimally invasive techniques.

Really like them a lot. My new vet for the foreseeable future. We found a feral kitten in our recycling bin and they were the only vet who answered their phone and gave us a quick appointment. I really like the vet and the staff.

Dr Maslanka and her crew are very holistic in their approach and recommend interventions based on the family's lifestyle. It's tough to get an appointment though but online consultations help.
