We are a mixed animal practice located in Paris, KY. Dr. Hardy Dungan and Dr. Kendra Ewalt established CKVS in 2005, expanding their mobile large animal veterinary service to a complete, full-service animal hospital for pets and farm animals. Our skilled and compassionate veterinarians and staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the best care possible.
We continually strive to provide the highest quality of care for our clients' animals using the most current and modern technologies and therapies to deliver excellence in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and general healthcare. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.

Boarding
Report
Central Kentucky Veterinary Services is happy to provide full service boarding and daycare for dogs and cats. We can be your pet's home away from home when you need to travel for business, vacation, or emergency. We provide a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment. All kennels are indoors. Dogs can run and play in our fenced yard.
Dental Care
Report
Pets need dental care too! Daily home care helps slow the progress of dental disease, but eventually most pets need a thorough professional cleaning. Signs that your pet may have dental problems include: persistent halitosis (bad breath), discolored teeth, loose teeth, swollen or bleeding gums, sensitivity of the mouth, drooling, change in eating habits, loss of appetite, and/or decrease in activity.
Hospice and Euthanasia Services
Report
No time in a pet's life is more heartbreaking than the end. Our compassionate and caring professionals can help you through this painful experience. We offer hospice services and will advise you of home care and medical options to ensure your pet's comfort and dignity during his or her last days and final moments.
House Calls
Report
As a mixed animal practice, Central Kentucky Veterinary Services offers a multitude of services that can be completed at your home or farm. For our small animal patients, we offer house call services to better suit certain patient and client needs. We will come to your home in cases of limited mobility of either owner or animal, convenience needs of the owner, or when pets are reluctant to leave home and traveling is not feasible.
