I've worked twice a week with Jana for three years, and I'm in the best shape of my life and -- for the first time ever -- able to consistently exercise on a daily basis. Jana's sessions have built my strength and stamina, and also made me realize the absolute necessity of exercise for good mental health. I feel great! Been continuing to train virtually with Rob throughout the pandemic with great results. With Rob now in Miami, I will continue with the virtual sessions from NYC. I initially began training with Rob before my wedding over 5 years ago. Not only did I make my wedding weight but I really enjoy the workouts and have been able to keep doing them because they are efficient and make me leave with more energy. With COVID, we have been able to do them virtually which has been a great saver since health and weight is more important, and otherwise all i could really do is cardio. This way, with the help of some inexpensive resistance bands, we've been able to do really complete workouts virtually. Highly recommend

I have been doing virtual sessions with Rob for several months now and I am beyond amazed at how effective and powerful these virtual workouts have been for me. I have been losing inches and gaining strength and flexibility easily, all with minimal equipment I have in my own home. And the 30 minute workouts are incredible to fit into a tight schedule.

Jana and Rob are both super personable, committed, excellent trainers. I cannot praise their service enough. I began training with Jana in their Midtown studio more than 5 years ago as pretty much a novice to fitness training. I had always been relatively active, but with a hectic work schedule, I found I could never stick with a disciplined workout routine on my own. I've been working with Rob for over 4 years now, and our program supports my goals of staying fit, active and injury-free. I used to think that harder was better, soreness meant results, and 30 minutes wasn't long enough to make meaningful change. Three cheers for virtual (Absolute) Fitness! In gym was nice but virtual is better! - a great workout with total convenience. Rob and Jana 's skill as trainers knows no boundaries - from my living room using body weight, stretch bands, and a mat I have gotten firmer and lost 10 pounds in ten weeks; everything is closely supervised for safety and effectiveness over video with lots of sweat, a couple of laughs and NO downtime. The value in the virtual class is exceptional. I feel so good investing in my health during these times and thank you Jana and Rob for being there!!

I started training with Jana over 3 years ago. A colleague and friend referred me to her and I am so grateful! Every workout is different (with a few re-occurring but effective moves) and catered toward whatever you want to improve. Jana is the ultimate professional! She practices what she preaches and the accountability is the main reason why I have kept a consistent workout schedule for 3 years. She helped me tone up and encouraged me to jog on the treadmill after years of not working out. I toned up and went down a pant size and lost 10+ pounds.

I've been seeing Rob for over 5 years. Now I do this virtually because it is the best way for me to consistently work out a variety of muscle groups and stay in shape during the Covid issue. Whether in person or virtual, I think rob and Jana are so professional and good at what they do, that I would recommend them to anyone. They are patient and very knowledgeable of what it takes to continue working out as you get older, because doing this in a healthy way is really important

I went to absolute fitness to find affordable personal training sessions. I was able to set up my first appointment with rob over the phone seamlessly. I was excited for my session but rob definitely exceeded my expectations. I have tried multiple personal trainers but no one is as knowledgeable and caring as Rob. He took his time to help deal with my injuries and gave me wonderful tips that I can use daily. He really seems to understand his clients and works hard to make sure they are satisfied. Rob & Jana are not only amazing trainers, they are both truly amazing people. My wife & I both joined Absolute Fitness last year and over the course of 80 sessions, we have learnt so much about fitness. Rob who trained us both would never forget to check in on cardio, diet, any muscle niggles, etc. between sessions. A friend has suggested I try Absolute Fitness because it was close to my office and the workouts were intense. Several years later, I’m still a regular there because I feel I really get value for my investment. Jana is a great motivator and keeps you on your toes. Plan on being pushed extra hard if you admit to having any carbs for dinner the night before! I highly recommend Absolute Fitness.

I've worked out with at least a half a dozen trainers of the past 15 years and Absolute Fitness is by far the very best. The owners of the business are incredibly committed to their work and take an approach that is 100% authentic with no gimmicks - no crazy fad diets, no pushing products or gear - just a focus on getting their clients into the best shape possible in a totally unpretentious setting. If you are looking for a personal trainer, come to Absolute Fitness. Both Rob and Jana have taken time to get to know me and my fitness goals. 30 minutes may sound like a short workout, but it's an action packed session with minimal rest time. In addition, there are stationary bikes and treadmills that you are encouraged to use before/after your session. The rates are affordable, and Rob follows up throughout the week to check in on nutrition, sleep, other workouts, etc. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Rob is for sure the best trainer that any of my patients have ever trained with. Over the years I have had a number of my clients under his tutelage and I have always been impressed. The Absolute Fitness difference is that Rob understands that each client and in our case each patient is different and he has an amazing ability to tailor his training sessions to meet their needs and both help repair their injuries and not hurt them. Often, I get a new patient who has to see me, because their trainer literally hurt them. What a nightmare! I have never had someone come to me because Rob hurt them.

I have been with Absolute Fitness for 2 years now - and what a cliche - but it's true - they changed my life! I was so nervous for my first workout - I had a 2 year old and hadn't worked out in forever and even though I had been athletic previously - I was hopelessly (I thought) out of shape. Rob was so kind and he didn't make me feel bad about myself and I didn't hate my life while I was there or afterwards (like some other sessions I've had with other trainers). I am not athletic. Nor have I ever enjoyed any form of exercise. I started working out with Jana a year ago and I cannot express how much my life has changed. First of all, each session is incredibly efficient -- 30 minutes for the workout (non-stop action) in which I get as much done with Rob as would otherwise take me 1 hour. He keeps me on my toes and pushes me to a higher level.
Second, before & after the lifting, I do a total of 30 minutes of cardio at Absolute Fitness, so my total workout ends up being an hour and is excellent value.
Third, Rob does a great job keeping me at my peak even when I'm not with him. He checks in outside of training

Personal Training doesn't get better than this -- I love this place! I have been training with Rob for almost two years and I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. I originally came to him because I was getting married and I have stayed on to continue to work towards new goals. I had also previously herniated my disc and Rob created a workout that catered towards what my doctor recommended. Rob and Jana's dedication goes above and beyond; the quality of work that they do cannot be found elsewhere.

I have been training with Jana for over 2 years and have been very happy. She accommodates my busy and changing schedule. I look forward to my twice a week training as a nice break in my day. The most important thing for you to know is that Jana (Rob too) really care about each client. She treats me just as good as her super models or hedge fund clients (I recognized them from magazines not from her bragging). She reminds me about my sessions (via text), remembers any injuries I may have and gives me a hard time if my eating is bad.

After having followed most fitness fads out there (spinning, cardio kickboxing, boot camp, step, aerobics, aqua aerobics, zumba, pilates--I still have to try bikram yoga) and having read a bunch of books on healthy living and exercise, I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. Rob's work outs kick my butt and give me incredible results! The best part is that his routines are only 30-minutes! including warm up and stretching. It does not get any better than this; to add to

For those of you looking for a personal trainer....LOOK NO FURTHUR! Where to begin? First off, the affordability alone is reason enough to join on board. I've had personal trainers in the past at the big name health clubs but with their rates at around $100 a pop, the toll it took on my pocketbook just didn't make it worth it. So I did alot of research in search of a more reasonably priced trainer and discovered absolute fitness website. There rates are less than 50% the average NYC trainer (their rates are listed on their website)!
