Periodontics is the dental specialty that treats periodontal disease, an inflammatory disease that affects the gums and surrounding bone. If you're experiencing bleeding gums, sensitive or receding gums, bad breath, tooth pain, or shifting teeth, you may have periodontal disease. When those symptoms are present, it's time to see a periodontist.

You can either fax or mail to us or bring them with you to your first appointment. If you are unable to get directions on our location page, you may call our office to get more detailed directions.

If you have any questions about our office policies, please call (732) 246-7680 during business hours. At our office, we know that your time is important. If you are a new patient, please arrive at our office 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time. If you are a returning patient we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
Pre-Op/Post-Op Instructions

Pre-medication: As indicated by your primary physician or orthopedic surgeon for heart abnormalities, valve replacements, or recent joint replacement. Blood thinners: Stopping blood thinning medications prior to the appointment as per your physician/cardiologist. Anxious patients: to discuss any medication or gas that will help the patient through the appointment.

Do I need X-rays? We need current X-rays to diagnose your case and develop the appropriate treatment plan. If your referring dentist has taken X-rays, please bring a legible copy or have them forwarded to us by mail or email. What will my periodontal treatment cost? What will my dental insurance cover?
