Services
There are two levels of Jiu Jitsu classes, Fundamentals and All-Levels. Everything that a student needs to know by the time they are a blue belt is taught in the fundamentals class. This includes basic submissions, escapes, wrestling and positional control! Although white belts are welcome and encouraged to attend the All-Levels class, the instructor will assume the student knows the basics.
Yes, we have many female students who train in our gym. Female students usually pair with other female students during training, although that's by choice and not a requirement. Not at all. You'll find that our classes for beginners are the perfect way to build up your overall fitness level regardless of your physical condition.

Terrible gym, I attended a class with children aged 8 to 12 more or less, children guillotine, triangle pulling their heads, slamming, and it's unfortunate that they don't learn, what will become of these children in a championship where none of this is allowed. I'm outraged to see a black belt see all this and not correct it.

Team mica led by, mica Cipili! Is an awesome place to train and learn knowledge every time you step on the mat. I go to the Charleston location 95% of the time. Another great instructor in my opinion is, Ross keeping! Beast on the mat and also a great instructor! Long story short great group to train with. But be consistent show up and train like anything it takes commitment!

My boys Rocco and Cutter have been going to Gracie Jiu Jitsu for almost 2 years now and they absolutely love this school. The instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. They teach the kids self discipline. My boys learned to treat others with RESPECT. They have learned valuable tools that they can carry with them outside of the academy.
The instructors treat you like family and that's the best part of being part of it!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy training here; this place is absolute best! The people are friendly and encouraging. The instructors are absolutely brilliant, and always ready to help. I am so angry that I did not find this place sooner. Keep up the good work!!!

I'm updating my last review.
I have to say that as mentioned on my first review that I did not have a good first impression due to the confusion between staff and owners.
However, I was very surprised when Leah( the owners wife) reach out to me and wanted to makeup for the misunderstanding and hard time we had the first 2 days. She has worked with me in every way possible to make our experience so much better. She is a very sweet and understanding lady. Most owners wouldn't even bother. Hats off to her for being the kind person that she is. My kids definitely feel more comfortable about
