Thornwood Veterinary Clinic was established September of 1972. The facility is located on 23 acres in Cascade Township, providing a true haven for many of our animal friends, both domestic and wild. We have several full and part-time veterinarians, supported by a qualified, dedicated, pet-loving staff.
Thornwood provides a rich, pet focused environment with lots of fresh air and individual attention. We really like thornwood - you helped us with our very sick puppy and gave us the knowledge we needed to make a decision on how to care for him.
Grooming

Our pet groomer offers full service, all-breed dog grooming and also some cat grooming. All dogs are groomed to AKC Standard (breed standard) and/or owner's specifications. Daisy dogs, designer breeds, etc. are groomed accordingly to their owners wishes, along with the groomer's trained eye to help the owner decide which trim suits their dog's body style and coat texture.

Thornwood is a premier boarding facility in Ada, Michigan. We are one of the few dog boarding facilities offering connected, individual indoor/outdoor runs allowing your pet much greater space and opportunity for exercise. There are 58 kennel units available, constructed of wood and spacious enough to accommodate up to two large dogs in the same kennel should you be a multi-dog family.

Doggy day care is ideal for the busy pet owner and energetic dog! Any pet needing more attention, activity, exercise, or just some socialization throughout the day is welcome to join. Our program allows you to drop your pet off before going to work, before running your daily errands, or whenever you're ready for a break!
