Your First Visit
Report
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines recommend that your child be seen by a dentist within 6 months of the eruption of the first tooth. We agree and invite you to bring your child early so that we can prevent cavities rather that treat them.
Treatment Options
Report
We have designed our office and rooms to look and feel as non-threatening and safe as possible. We try and keep our dental equipment and instruments out of sight. To keep our patients entertained, we have TVs with a selection of parent-approved channels for your child to watch while we take care of their dental needs.
Frenectomy for Infants
Report
Tongue Tie is when the membrane under the tongue (the lingual frenulum) restricts the movement of the tongue. All babies are born with some of this tissue, but for a small percentage (ranges 1-10%) of newborns, it is so tight that they cannot move their tongues freely. This can affect their ability to breastfeed and can lead to poor latch.
