We are a small private training group dedicated to helping students develop themselves mentally and physically through training in the sophisticated, yet simple art of Wing Chun Kung Fu. I periodically accepts new students, but my class sizes is strictly limited in order to focus on the individual.
Wing Chun Gung Fu is a Chinese system that specializes in developing dynamic, explosive, and street-oriented practical self-defense. Wing Chun relies on developing proper body alignment and sensitivity rather than muscular strength to overcome an opponent.

Have seen many People that tell me they're hungry for it. I've also seen those same people come and go. You can't control the timing but you can control the players and the environment. Seek it. Shape it. And when you find it, you will have the opportunity to fulfill the greatest potential you have within you.

My method of selecting students is quite different from a typical martial arts school. Since we are a private training group, enrollment is limited and the emphasis is always on quality rather than quantity. Because of the seriousness and realistic nature of the training involved, anyone inquiring must be over 21 years old to apply.

We like to control our environment in order to produce the results we seek. We prefer to surround ourselves with like minded individuals who value the hard work that needs to be put in. The training we do is the consequence of your attitude. If you can't pay attention or you don't want to work hard, DON'T bother showing up to go through the motions.

With a quarter of century of martial arts training, I can state that Sifu Cho Cheung embodies a rare symbiosis of knowledge and expertise in Wing Chun. Three are the key traits that differentiate his teaching: 1. Strict adherence to the lineage of Wing Chun, 2. Focus on proper execution of forms to engender an in-depth knowledge of the art from both a physical and philosophical standpoint, 3. Talent in maintaining among students a unique esprit de corps, respect and identity with a common purpose—the indisputable key pillars driving the success of any martial art school. Sifu Cheung rises the

Sifu Cheung's class is great and while hard, I do enjoy it. One thing I've realized is that each student holds Sifu Cheung in high regard and are very respectful not only to Sifu but to one another. Aside from learning wing chun and working on drills, Sifu also takes the time to pour years of knowledge into his students. You will learn your basics, how to correctly execute forms and its application in various situations. This class is truly the exception to what you will find in Manhattan.

I've tried a bunch of kung fu schools in the city and they are usually lacking in something, be it blasé instructors, no organization or curriculum of any kind, or the fact that they run a glorified cardio class, but advertising it as a martial arts school. Cho Cheung Wing Chun is the exception. Sifu is great, he keeps the training very traditional, with a lot of detail and understanding, but with an emphasis on practicality. No macho or tough guys here, just people who want earn their martial skills thru hard, rigorous work. Can't recommend him enough.

I have been a student of this school for over a year now, and have been impressed from the first day i walked into the class. The Art itself is extremely effective and efficient and the instructor passes on the knowledge and training in a manner which is properly structured and easily interpreted. My only regret about Cho Cheung and Wing Chun,.. is that i didnt begin training years ago. 👍🏻👍🏻
