I started with State Farm a year after graduating college (Alaska Pacific University) in the homeowners claims department. I loved working claims because you get to help people in some really hard times when they need State Farm to step up and "keep the promise".

I started the day after Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in 1992 so I immediately saw firsthand what kind of a company State Farm was by how we took care of our policyholders during a disaster.That has always stayed with me-State Farm is the gold standard in the insurance industry when it comes to customer service and paying for what we owe.
