Under Pressure Screen Printing was founded in July of 2009. We are Austin's only 100% Water-based screen printing shop. We offer a wide array of services from apparel, poster, and promotional materials printing. We strive to serve our local Austin community and seek to achieve the best possible quality for each product that we produce.
In 2013 we upgraded to automated printing equipment so that we can offer competitive pricing on large orders and unparalleled water-based printing quality. Currently our automated M&R Gauntlet printing press can handle up to 8 colors with 10 printing stations for bulk orders. We also still operate our original 4-color 4-station Riley Hopkins Press for smaller jobs.

Currently we use water-based fabric ink. We have a high solid acrylic system and a discharge system for printing shirts. Something to know about water-based ink is that it works best on 100% cotton fabrics but will also work on 50/50 blends and tri-blends. We also can print on 100% polyester fabrics for orders over 75 items or more.

10 stars here!! Definition of shirt wizards! Thank you Sam and team, for two different shirt printing occasions, really fantastic service. The first one was a small batch and Sam patiently walked us through the the process and revisions. Shirts came out in great quality. The second I was a total last minute thing that other vendors wouldn't do- a single custom jersey with a turnaround of 3 days. And it occurred to me... ask Sam! I think I emailed him late on a friday if he could have it done by Tuesday. And Tuesday it was, and it was done. Seriously, these folks are great. Will be back and highly

Great service! I am very impressed with the work done here. The shirts were done in a timely manner and came out pretty great. As someone who constantly works with graphic tees and prints, I'm confident enough to say that this is one of the best prints I've gotten from a print shop and the fact that they're local too just makes it all the better!

I’ve printed quite a few jobs with Under Pressure and their work is unmatched. Sam is always extra diligent throughout the process from start to finish so that there are no issues. I’ve been printing merchandise for decades and I can’t tell you how many times before that I’ve been left disappointed and unsatisfied. None of this applies to Under Pressure, they are experienced and it shows in their quality work. These guys are the business!
