Services
Custom Landscaping
Our custom landscaping service creates tailored outdoor environments that respond to specific site conditions. We combine ecological principles with aesthetic considerations to develop functional spaces that evolve naturally over time. Each project integrates sustainable material choices and plant selections adapted to San Francisco's microclimates while accommodating client-specific needs like outdoor kitchens and water features.
Sustainable Garden Design
Specialized garden design focusing on ecological benefits through strategic plant selection and material reuse. We create self-sustaining systems that require minimal water, reduce pesticide use, and support local biodiversity. Our approach incorporates native plants, permeable surfaces, and integrated pest management to create landscapes that actively improve environmental health while maintaining visual appeal.
Landscape Installation
Precision landscape construction executed directly under the supervision of original designers. Our installation teams maintain continuity from concept to completion through direct communication with design staff. We specialize in complex terrain challenges and integrate sustainable building practices using recycled materials and low-impact construction techniques that minimize environmental disruption during the installation process.
Outdoor Maintenance
Ongoing maintenance plans designed to preserve landscape integrity while reducing long-term resource consumption. Services include seasonal pruning, irrigation optimization, and organic soil management. Our approach focuses on creating self-sustaining systems that require minimal intervention through proper plant selection and installation of smart irrigation technologies that adapt to changing weather conditions.
Ecological Restoration
Specialized restoration of natural ecosystems within urban environments. We transform conventional landscapes into biodiverse habitats supporting native flora and fauna. This service includes invasive species removal, soil remediation, and implementation of native plant communities that require minimal maintenance while providing ecological benefits like improved carbon sequestration and support for local pollinator populations.

Janet Moyer landscaping replaced our front and back yards, which had lawns, with a beautiful water wise garden, with a dry creek bed, and a couple little fountains, a natural looking flagstone patio area, all set in redwood mulch and irrigated and lit. Their staff was very helpful throughout; the installation crew consisted of people who were knowledgeable about plants and irrigation and lighting, and collaborated well with us. They were very hard workers as well. We look forward to their continued maintenance of our new yard.

Not wanting to destroy it, we called Janet Moyer Landscaping to maintain our garden on an ongoing basis. In addition to recommending and installiing a GPS-guided automatic irrigation system (so we never have to think about watering), Janet Moyer has
