The Practice Act of California requires a minimum of an examination within one year to maintain a current veterinarian/client/patient relationship. Without this relationship, we are unable to give medical advice over the phone, prescribe, or disperse medications. We would be happy to schedule an examination for your pet.

An annual physical examination is essential for the long term well-being of all your pets, no matter the species. This allows us to prevent many diseases or treat diseases in the early stages before they become life threatening. A new pet should be taken to your veterinarian as soon as possible. At Wildwood Veterinary Hospital, we emphasize client education along with an annual examination to provide the best health care for your pets.

Vaccines are a necessary part of preventative health care for your dog and cat. Puppies and kittens need to have a series of vaccines starting at 8 weeks of age until they are 4 months of age. Once the series is completed, they receive their next vaccines in one year. A comprehensive examination of your pet and the pet's life style help to determine which vaccinations are needed and at what interval for each pet.

Dental Care - Dental disease is extremely common in pet animals. At Wildwood Veterinary Hospital, we offer professional dental cleaning along with client education on preventative care for your pets. Your pet's dental care does not end at an office visit.

We have feline or canine toothbrushes, toothpaste and canine dental chews available to help continue your pet's dental care in the comfort of their home and decrease their risk of dental disease.
