Services
Wellness Exams
Annual wellness exams ensure pets maintain optimal health through comprehensive physical assessments. Our veterinarians evaluate ear, eye, dental, skeletal, and internal systems while offering nutrition and behavior counseling. Senior pets receive biannual exams with blood screenings to detect age-related conditions early. These preventive visits form the foundation for long-term health management tailored to each pet's unique needs.
Vaccinations
Core and non-core vaccinations protect pets from life-threatening diseases and zoonotic infections. We administer rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia vaccines while advising on lifestyle-specific options like bordetella for social dogs. Our protocols balance safety and efficacy, ensuring puppies/kittens develop strong immunity while maintaining protection for adult pets through scheduled boosters.
Pet Surgery
We perform spays/neuters, mass removals, and emergency procedures using advanced anesthesia monitoring. Pre-operative bloodwork ensures surgical safety while post-operative care includes pain management and recovery guidance. Our team handles complex cases like gastric dilatation volvulus and limb amputations, combining technical expertise with compassionate support for pets and owners.
Grooming
Professional grooming services maintain pets' hygiene and comfort through bathing, nail trimming, and coat maintenance. Our groomers provide breed-specific styling while monitoring skin and ear health during sessions. Regular grooming prevents matting, reduces shedding, and allows early detection of lumps or irritations, contributing to overall wellness.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture treatments alleviate chronic pain and inflammation for pets with arthritis, hip dysplasia, or neurological conditions. Thin needles stimulate energy flow and blood circulation without medication side effects. Sessions last 20-45 minutes, with improvements often seen after 3-5 treatments. This complementary therapy works alongside conventional medicine to enhance mobility and quality of life.

Disrespectful and very unprofessional. The doctor purposely kept my dog and I waiting in the room nearly 20 minutes before showing up to begin the examination. She only came in after I was about to leave. The assistances are also careless. They can't even remember basic information about your pet. I'm not sure if it's deliberate or just outright negligence, but my dog and I will not be back. These people are so cold and unsympathetic I don't feel comfortable giving them anymore of my money.

Critical:Responsiveness
Our four dogs are patients at Carpenter. We have left voicemails to get in touch with the groomer, Kim, and never get a call back. Very disappointing. We have had to find someone else while we wanted to keep all of our pet's care needs at one facility.

My dog loves to be boarded here! He is well cared for and gets excited when he gets through the doors for drop off. Highly recommend all services 😄
