Dr. Jay Cunningham is a Jackson Purchase native having grown up in Graves County. After graduating from Graves County High School he attended Murray State University. While at Murray Jay received the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholarship. Jay majored in biology with a minor in chemistry and received his degree in 2004.
