Dr. Kerr is an Iowa native and attended Tripoli High School before he set off to the University of Iowa College of Engineering for undergraduate school.

Technology
This is why we may use an intraoral camera during your visit. An intraoral camera allows us to see things that don't show up on x-rays and may be missed with the naked eye. It also gives us the ability to show you a picture of what is going on in your mouth. This information can be used to help educate you on oral issues or see why certain treatment may be recommended.
Dental Cleanings and Periodontal Treatment
Just like a house needs a strong foundation to stand on, so do your teeth. Healthy bone and gums are the strong foundation your teeth need in order to function properly. Regular dental cleanings and check-ups are essential in maintaining this healthy foundation. Your mouth is also the gateway to the rest of your body and research has linked periodontal (gum) infections to many other health issues such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

At Kerr Family Dental we believe caring for our teeth starts before we even get our baby teeth. Creating a lifetime of healthy teeth and cavity free check-ups is our main goal for all of the kiddos. We try and make it as convenient as possible to schedule the whole family at one time whenever possible.

At Kerr Family Dental, we have all been there before. Just because Dr. Kerr is a dentist doesn't mean he is immune to toothaches.
