My passion for photography began more than 30 years ago when, as a poor college student, I borrowed a friend's Canon AE-1 to take some vacation photos.
The entire photographic process on the 35mm film format intrigued me, and I ended up "borrowing" that camera for nearly a year. Eventually, I saved up enough money to buy my own camera, a Canon EOS and worked on film technique photographing landscapes and building architecture on San Jose State University's campus and the downtown San Jose area.
