Elizabeth's acupuncture style is unique. She has pursued advanced training in several Japanese Acupuncture styles, including Meridian Therapy, studying with renowned teachers Stephen Brown and Atsuki Maeda, and Kiiko Matsumoto style acupuncture, which she learned from Kiiko herself.
In Japanese Acupuncture, the main focus of treatment is to make the patient as comfortable and relaxed as possible, lulling you into the state most conducive for healing.This is seen in the gentle techniques, and the use of a guide tube to make insertion painless. Japanese styles of acupuncture also rely heavily on palpation, or diagnostic touching, for diagnosis and treatment.

There are also options for packages and gift certificates. Once you purchase a package, you'll receive a code that can be entered into the scheduling page. When purchasing a gift certificate, you will receive an email confirmation. That email can be printed out and used to redeem your treatment. If you are local and prefer a tangible certificate, we have beautiful printed cards that make a lovely gift.

We do accept insurance for acupuncture treatments if it is covered on your plan. Everyone's insurance coverage is a little bit different, some have acupuncture benefits and some don't. Medicare has recently added acupuncture coverage for chronic low back pain, however, they won't accept acupuncturists into their network.
