What emergency services do you offer after hours?
We refer urgent cases to 24-hour facilities like MEDVET and VCA SouthPaws. Call our office for guidance during regular hours or visit their listed locations after hours.
Do you accept pet insurance or financing options?
We process CareCredit and major credit cards. While we don't directly bill insurers, we provide documentation for reimbursement claims. Cash payments are also accepted.
Can I schedule appointments online?
Currently, we require phone bookings at (703) 491-5134. Our team assists with availability across diagnostic, surgical, and wellness services six days weekly.
What preventive screening tests do you recommend?
Age-based profiles include bloodwork and urinalysis every 6-12 months. Puppies/kittens need annual checks, seniors require bi-annual testing, and senior profiles include thyroid and organ function assessments.
How does your curbside service work during visits?
Call upon arrival to notify staff. Pets are escorted inside for exams while owners wait. Updates occur via phone, and payment is processed remotely to maintain safety protocols.
Do you offer online pharmacy services?
We maintain an in-house pharmacy but provide online ordering options through our website for select medications and prescription diets with home delivery.

This is a review based off of when Greiffenhagen was Vet/owner. I didn't continue care during switch based off of no knowledge of switchover untill trying to make an appointment and having to pry why hours changed.

Davis Ford Animal Hospital was amazing. We had to euthanize our beloved pet, they walked me through all the steps, explained everything and were amazing in the time of losing a close friend and loved one. I can't recommend them any higher than five stars or I would.

Not even worth 1 start to be honest. Terrible communication with clients and lacking in active listening skills in regards to the animals' course of care. They also guilt trip the owners if they cannot afford the top dollar care plan and then will not actively work with them on an affordable care plan. The vet also doesn't have the capability to explain the difference in health care options in regards of benefits or cons of certain procedures done to the animal (patient).

I would not recommend this vet for a flea let alone a dog. I breed dogs and trusted Dr. Scott with the care of my puppies. 2 weeks after i had them give their first shots and a worming. I had this done to 8 pups and not one problem with the other pups. One puppy how ever developed a problem and had to be taken to an emergency care facility out of state. The problem cost my client $1600.00 The problem was hook worms that i payed to have taken care of. I went to the vet on 10/10/18 in hopes of recovering some money for my client. I was take to a back room so that clients of their's could not hear

These people are amazing! I have been with them for more than 5+ years and they really do care about the animals and not the money. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. Although not cheap, they do charge less than other clinics and their prices are reasonable. The doctor knows what he is doing and is very kind. This place is amazing and I know that my pets are always in safe hands with them.
