What to Expect

You have taken a brave first step. Acknowledging that we need help and the process of getting access to needed services can be a challenge. I understand. Many of our clients have described the difficult path to getting the help they need. The next steps are to call and make an appointment, come to your appointment, and work hard with us to reach your goals.

Psychotherapy is learning and healing parts of ourself that hold distortions and painful, strong emotions so that we can access our true, more authentic self. Through a safe and trusting psychotherapy relationship we can work together to explore your experiences and develop a plan that works for you to determine the directions you want your journey to take.

It is so easy to look at others and believe we should look, act, or be like they are. One of the hardest things in life is accepting where we are as part of our journey and moving to where we want to be based on our goals and values. Healing is an important part of the acceptance process. I believe that we heal through relationship.
Fees and Payments

Prices will vary and will be determined by the agreement reached during the assessment process. If you participate in a partially subsidized form of healthcare that we do not accept then you get 50% off individual/couple/family prices and 25% off group prices. Full payment is expected for cancellations with less that 24 hour business day notice or failure to keep appointments.

Report
Substance Use/Abuse outpatient groups: this counseling group concentrates on our drug and alcohol choices and the impact and solutions stemming from those choices. Group meets for 90 minutes every week and meets the criterion for DUI and DCBS substance abuse classes (offered at various times); please see our calendar for more information.
