When I think about what gets me up in the morning (besides the obvious, coffee and my kids) it's other people. I wake up excited to connect with my family, with other parents at school, with the baristas who provide me that much needed coffee and with the people who hire me to tell their stories.
Connection is so important in this sometimes crazy world and getting to document those connections is something I'm incredibly honored to do. Based in Southern Oregon (Ashland to be exact) and happy to travel. I'm a mama, photographer, occasion-lover, coffee drinker, NPR listener and sometimes backpacker and snowboarder.

I don't know about you but every day that goes by feels like it went faster than the last one. Well, most of the time. Sure, some days feel like they last forever but usually life is busy and full of work and errands and cooking and cleaning and sometimes I worry that I won't remember any of it.
And I don't want to remember it in some perfect moment where my kids wore matching dresses and I actually had my hair and make-up done (OK, that would never happen anyway) - I want to remember us as we are now.Right in this moment. Me in a ponytail and my girls jumping like crazy on the trampoline.
