Services
Veterinary Dentistry
Our veterinary dentistry services focus on preventing and treating oral diseases that can lead to systemic health issues. We perform full-mouth X-rays to detect hidden problems and offer routine cleanings to manage tartar buildup. Our team emphasizes the critical link between oral health and overall wellness, ensuring pets receive thorough exams and treatments to alleviate pain and maintain dental hygiene. This proactive approach helps extend the quality time pets share with their owners.
Routine Wellness Care
Routine wellness exams are essential for early detection of potential health issues. We recommend biannual checkups for cats and dogs to monitor for conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and dental problems. Our comprehensive evaluations include vaccinations, parasite screenings, and lifestyle assessments tailored to each pet's age and breed. These regular visits allow us to establish baseline health metrics and intervene promptly when abnormalities arise.
Diagnostics
Our in-house diagnostic lab enables rapid and accurate identification of underlying health conditions. Using state-of-the-art equipment, we perform bloodwork, urinalysis, and imaging studies to pinpoint causes of symptoms. Our veterinarians collaborate on complex cases, leveraging their collective expertise to develop targeted treatment plans. This commitment to thorough diagnostics ensures pets receive timely, effective care for both acute and chronic conditions.
Veterinary Surgery
We offer a range of surgical procedures from routine spays/neuters to complex soft-tissue surgeries. Each case receives a customized anesthetic protocol based on the pet's health status and procedure requirements. Our team monitors vital signs throughout surgery using advanced equipment, ensuring patient safety. Post-operative care includes pain management and follow-up appointments to support optimal recovery and long-term health outcomes.
Hospice Care
Our hospice care program provides compassionate support for terminally ill or geriatric pets. We create individualized plans to maintain comfort, including pain management and home visits when appropriate. Our team offers counseling to help owners navigate difficult decisions about euthanasia, ensuring pets pass with dignity at a time of their choosing. This service emphasizes quality of life during a pet's final days.

I just had my first initial intake appointment with Skaer and had a wonderful experience! They thoughtfully listened as I gave my dogs history, asked questions, and were very positive! They offered me a suggested list of services but I didn’t feel any pressure at all do do more than I originally brought her in for. They gave me tons of pamphlets… and information to read, as well as a new measuring cup. They were supportive and non-judge mental. They took care of my dog really well and I felt confident when they took her inside by herself. It was reasonably priced and I’m excited
