Cavities are a type of tooth injury caused by tooth decay - rot inside or outside of a tooth. Typically, it is caused by bacteria in your mouth feeding on uncleaned teeth or improperly cleaned teeth. We usually allow 1 1/2 hours for your appointment so as to provide enough time to take care of all of your needs/concerns.
