JK's serves only the finest, freshly harvested meats. Our flavorful choice meats are aged in-house for over 30 days and cut by our own "In-House" butcher. JK's beef and signature ribs come exclusively from the Midwest, providing the restaurant with a product that has superior marbling, tenderness, and flavor without artificial stimulants.

Leaving for meatier, delicious cuts of meat that will soon be your favorite. That is, if it isn't already. Our seafood comes fresh off the docks from friends and chicken is raised - free range. Your meal will be cooked over a one of a kind, cast iron wood-fired mesquite grill. We believe you'll find the flavors exceptional and our reviews reflect the quality in each meal we serve.

Long before the Outer Banks grew into the year-round coastal community it is today, JK's Restaurant opened quietly in 1984 and rocked the seasonal dining available from the spring to late fall by offering a fine raw product, introducing live wood-fired grills and laying claim to its local audience by staying open year-round.

South Carolina Quail - Mesquite grilled quail served over mixed greens with Roquefort vinaigrette. Baked Oysters Rockefeller - On the half-shell topped with spinach walnut pesto & Parmesan cheese. Tobacco Shrimp - Dredged in tobacco flour and lightly fried served with creamy lemon dill sauce. Spinach and Fried Oyster Salad - Fresh spinach tossed in balsamic vinaigrette garnished with fried oysters topped with a lemon dill sauce.
