I was born in San Francisco, California, as a middle child between an older sister and younger brother. I moved to Houston in 2006. I first embarked on my journey into the dental world as a dental assistant and became a dental hygienist in 2016 while pursuing my interest in preventative dentistry.

Extractions may sometimes be needed if one or more of your teeth poses a risk to your dental health. They can be done on patients of all ages and are only done when the benefit of removing the tooth is far greater than leaving the tooth in place. Extractions are simple surgical procedures that can be done in minutes in our office.

Fillings

Fillings are restorations that are used to replace areas of a tooth that have become decayed. Tooth decay, often referred to as a cavity, can develop for a variety of reasons. If left untreated, the decay will get larger and eventually require the need for a complete root canal. Before it gets this bad, we can remove the decay and place a composite resin (tooth-colored) filling.

Cleanings

Cleanings are critical to the overall health and wellness of your smile. They are done to remove plaque, tartar and stains to reveal a healthy, beautiful smile underneath. We recommend having a professional dental cleaning every six months. For patients with gum disease, cleanings are the best way to prevent progression of the disease.
