Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and Geography, Miami University, Ohio, 1999. James King is a graduate of Willamette University College of Law, and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2009.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, James completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio and his Master's of Science degree at the University of Arizona before working as an urban planner for a private civil engineering firm until 2006.

Michael Schaefer

Michael Schaefer moved to the Portland area when he was 10 and, with the exception of his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, he's lived here ever since. He graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2012, and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in the same year. Prior to joining Holtey Law, Michael ran his own solo practice in West Linn.
