We are open for urgent care from 8-5 Monday-Friday (closed for meal break from 12-1) and appointments. To ensure we have all of the necessary information to complete school physicals, they will only be done by appointment to give us time to review the student's medical history prior to the visit. We will ask that you bring or send us all of your required documented proof of immunizations at least 2 days prior to your appointment.

Mariellen, known to her patients as Ellen, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2013 with her Master of Science in Nursing degree and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She started her practice in a Primary Care setting and later transitioned to providing care to clients in Post-Acute Care/ Skilled facilities, collaborating to decrease hospital re-admission.

Dr. Blackwood has been a licensed doctor of chiropractic in the state on Illinois since 2008. Dr. Blackwood earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. After graduated, Dr. Blackwood attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received a scholarship to play rugby and was given awards for his work as a Clinical Teaching Assistant and for Academic Radiology Excellence.
