Dr. Brian Boynton, a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, has been practicing dentistry for 24 years right here in the great State of Maine. Following in his father's footsteps and after a short stint working in the family dental practice, Dr. Boynton and his family moved to the Portland area where he settled and opened his first dental practice in Yarmouth with his second practice, Patriot Dental, to follow in 2015.

We value your time. You will be pleased to find that we will generally see you right at the appointed time. We will make every effort to complete your treatment in as few visits as possible. In order for us to be efficient with the time that we have scheduled for you, we would ask that you also be prompt and always give 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep an appointment so that other patients on our waiting list may be served.

Ability to pay is of deep concern to many dental patients. We share your concern and are prepared to offer you a number of payment options. We will discuss the payment plan best suited for you in privacy and assist you with all the arrangements. If you have dental insurance, we submit to and accept coassignment of benefits as a courtesy for our patients.

Does bleaching damage the teeth? No. When carbamide peroxide, the active whitening agent, contacts water, hydrogen peroxide is released which whitens the teeth. Bleaching does not soften, demineralize or weaken the teeth. 2. Do over-the-counter bleaching products work?
