Born and raised in Guanica, Puerto Rico, Dr. Vega wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Vega enlisted in the U. S. Army, Where he completed a one-year general residency program. He was promoted to Major in 1991 and served at a dental clinic at Ft. Lewis, Washington, with a focus on Oral surgery.
